It’s never too early to start planning for the future. Whether you are married with children or getting closer to that retirement you’ve been looking forward to, Oswald Insurance Group offers a variety of plans that will fit your needs. Purchasing life insurance coverage is the best way to provide financial security for your family or loved ones in the event of your passing. A few of the typical policies we can help you with are:
Term: Term Life Insurance pays a benefit upon the death of the insured, and lasts only a certain number of years (or a *term*). Term Life Insurance also typically is available with a lower premium compared to other types of life insurance. This type of insurance is great for young parents as it can be an option that would pay for college expenses or replace income. It can also be beneficial in funding buy/sell agreements for partners in a business. Term policies have no cash value.
Whole: Whole Life Insurance is a permanent policy, meaning it never terminates after a certain term of time and it builds a cash value as premiums are paid. Tax-free withdrawals can be made against the policy, and Whole Life policies may be used as collateral to obtains loans. These types of policies are great for high net worth individuals as the premiums are typically more expensive than other types of life insurance policies.
Indexed Universal: Indexed Universal Life (IUL) policies are a lot like Whole Life policies except that they can earn indexed returns in addition to the principal of the policy. Indexed Universal policies are great because they give you the opportunity to build more value in addition to premiums. An important part of IUL’s is that there is a “zero percent floor” meaning that the gains made from the indexed returns are yours to keep, and aren’t affected if the market drops.
